Does my spouse/partner need to attend?

No, you can choose to set up a Family Constellation with or without your partner attending. As it is a representational system, those who are absent will be represented by a group member.

My parents are now dead; can I still do a Family Constellation? 

Most certainly. Working with Family Constellations works on the subconscious and soul level. Those who have passed on are still part of the family dynamic and remain influential. Like all absentee members of a family, group members will represent them.

My partner has a lot of problems but he/she won't attend Family Constellation. What can I do? 

Some individuals feel intimidated by group work. In this case, with specific and clear permission from your friend/partner/spouse, you can set up a proxy Constellation on their behalf. It works just as well.

I have worked on many family issues, what else can I use Family Constellations for?  

You can use Family Constellations as a tool to look at all areas of your life: your work situation, physical conditions such as illness, your relationship to money and can also be used to look at characteristics you may have such as: stubbornness, arrogance, anxiety, jealousy, anger.

What other applications are there for Family Constellations?

Family Constellations can also be used as "Business Constellations". In the same way, members (or departments) are represented and the problems of the business come to light. I have assisted many business people come to a clearer idea of their business, colleagues and employees so that they can make better business decisions and bring harmony where there was disharmony. 

I have been diagnosed with a mental illness and have medication, may I attend?  

In such cases, you may want to have your qualified and licensed therapist to attend with you. There is not extra charge. Otherwise, simply consult with them before attending.

I am an adoptee, even though I do not know my family of origin, can Family Constellations still help me?

Absolutely! Family Constellations will assist to in connecting to who you are and your roots, therefore providing a path of healing. Many adoptees have attended these workshops with many reporting positive results that are life changing.

Do Family Constellations deal specifically with Gay & Lesbian issues?

Whether straight or gay, we all belong to a family, whether or not we have a good relationship with them. Additionally, family constellations will assist you in looking a relationship patterns just like anyone else. Family Constellations is open to all people equally.

I have drug and alcohol addiction issues, may I still attend?

Yes. I simply ask you to be sober on the day.

Group work really makes me feel nervous, is it possible to do this work privately?

Yes. We can set up some exploratory sessions and take it from there. Just about everyone is nervous about doing Constellations in a group, including myself. The groups are supportive, loving and confidential. 

I have a very low income, is it possible to have a discount?

Subject to agreements made telephonically, yes.

I am a therapist/healer/massage therapist, do you accept exchanges?

No. I prefer not to work with individuals that are working with me as clients. 

My 16 year old son/daughter has a lot of problems, may I make a booking for him?

No. I have a minimum age of 20 to attend workshops. My preference is that one or both parents attend in place of their child. Using the 'knowing field', the underlying issues leading to your child's problem will be revealed and resolution may be found through the parents. A Family Constellation workshop can be emotionally intense and ask too much of a teenager or child and especially if a parent in present

So you don't work with young people at all?

Yes I do, but only in private sessions. 

I am pregnant, is it still OK to attend a workshop?

Not in the first trimester, after that, preferably with a doctors note or a signed disclaimer

Can Family Constellation work be used to look at illness and disease?

Yes. Most certainly. Family Constellation work has often revealed that illnesses are directly linked to family dynamics and problems within the family system. Whilst it does promise a cure, it will however reveal much about the emotional stresses behind the illness. Healing is a very individual process and often involves many aspects of a person's life.

I'm a departmental manager for a large company and need insights into the dynamics of my company, can Family Constellations help?

Certainly! Family Constellations does not only deal with family and health issues. Many business people have successfully resolved business issues using this modality.
